Each of these routes has its own ecosystems like rainforests, and alpine deserts with varying levels of difficulty when it comes to climbing them. Trekking

Trekking Mount Kilimanjaro is nothing short of extraordinary. Its climbing routes of Machame, Marangu, and Lemosho have something for everyone. Hikers will walk through varying ecosystems ranging from tropical rainforests and up to alpine deserts while uniquely wildlife is being observed on the way. The trip is rememberable because after the tiresome hike comes the rewarding view from the top alongside the majestic nature.

Camping

During the Mount Kilimanjaro climb, several routes can be used to camp in the mountain enabling climbers to have a feel of the mountains magnificence. Of note is that, camping in open areas allows climbers to sleep deep in the wilderness. Moreover, camping facilities are also not far away in Arusha National Park or Tarangire, where nature can be enjoyed while having a gentle stroll with wildlife.

Nearby parks

While one can only view wildlife at the foot and lower slopes of the mountain, one can pair a Kilimanjaro hike with a safari in the Tarangire National Park, Arusha National Park or within the Ngorongoro Crater. These national parks are blessed with The Big Five and such a diverse range of wildlife as lions, elephants, giraffes, and zebras. A combination of a hiking journey and a safari in the described area would be the best option as a captivating hiking adventure can only be supplemented by appropriate WILDLIFE.
