Welcome to lake Manyara

The Manyara Lake National Park is located in Tanzania’s northern region; this park contains vast features such as the rugged Lake Manyara, thick woodland, and the Rift Valley escarpment. Its key highlight is the tree climbing lion and a variety of game animals like elephants, giraffes, and flamingos. The Park offers varied activities such as game drives, walking safaris and bird watching. Relative to the other parks, Manyara Lake is slightly smaller but still delivers an incredible safari experience which is ideal for a day visit.

Game drives

Perhaps the most enjoyable activity at Lake Manyara, game drives give people access to view all the unique wildlife in the park such as tree-climbing lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, and flamingos. They traverse through the parks forests, grasslands, and lakeshores giving guests great chances of viewing wildlife.

Bird watching

Lake Manyara has huge flocks of flamingos around the lake. Their presence among the other species such as pelicans, hornbills, and herons is an attraction to any fowl lover . These all add up to over 400 species of birds that exist in the area that Lake Manyara offers.
